I actually never tried running Plasma on Wayland, I think I'll give it a go and

KStars uses Qt, and Qt treats touchpad scroll events differently on X11 vs
Wayland, though. I don't know how exactly the main view is implemented, but
clearly there is some difference in how it receives scroll events
