SUMMARY
I opened a few files (13 to be precise), one of the files has many layers, the
rest are just a single-layer image. The task was to copy some of the layers
from many-layered file to other files. Noting extraordinary, and I did this
many times on my PC, but on my laptop Krita crashes constantly.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open file with many layers and several files with a single layer
2. Copy one of the layers from the many-layered file
3. Paste to one of the single-layered files
???

OBSERVED RESULT
Krita crashes!

EXPECTED RESULT
Krita doesn't crash and I succesfully paste what I've copied
