As for the crash log, it's not that useful but it shows the crash happens in
libuim, which is called by Qt: QUimPlatformInputContext::filterEvent. Have you
tried changing the language in other KDE/Qt applications?

First of all, I tried the appimage but it doesn't let me toggle languages.
I guess it has to do with the KDE framework packaging or something as you
mentioned.
