Yes, found out that if I move the drawing layer (instead of moving the
transform mask layer), it works as expected (for me, it is ok that way).
Probably something to do with the anchor point?

There must be a very specific set of transforms that interact this way... My
simple rotation doesn't trigger the bug. Could you maybe attach the file with
the transform mask?

Nope. I mean using the Transform Tool to scale the selection.

With apply a scale you mean that you use the image/Scale Image to new Size
dialog?

There's one step missing. After creating a transform mask, I apply a scale.
Only then I try to move it. What happens to me is that when I move the
Transform Mask (not the layer), it behaves strangely. When I drag it to the
