Thanks for the support and your time. It was all my fault. I had quite few
apps/libs installed from unofficial repository (AUR) and some of them might
have been kdenlive/MLT dependencies. After cleaning all that

I am not familiar with Arch, but I installed it in a virtual machine and
dependency handling seems a bit strange. MLT seems to miss several

I've tried to play the clip with ffplay and it works fine. The same with melt
command. About Kdenlive reports version 6.3 of Mlt which seems correct as I
