Ouch, took me a few hours to understand that one... Should be fixed in git
master now. As a workaround, can you try the following:
in your title clip, select a text item, enable shadow and set shadow offse

I cannot duplicate. Could you attach here a simple project file that contains
both the original title clip and the duplicate with moved text ?
