This looks weird. In the backtrace it doesn't look like it's coming from
Gwenview's code, but rather Qt's code. I don't know if it could be some wrong
configuration of a Qt object in Gwenview and then it produces the crash

I should add that some time ago Spectacle had a similar issue - crashing after
doing an annotation - but it works fine now.

I just tried in X11 session and still can't reproduce it. I used two versions:
Gwenview v25.07.70 (compiled from source)
KDE Frameworks 6.13.0
Qt 6.8.2
Gwenview v24.12.3 (flatpak)
KDE Frameworks 6.12.0

I was altering jpegs from a Samsung phone, I just tried images from a different

Here is a coredump from when I did a crop, crop/resize/...
These other operations often work, but sometimes dump core. There were no
message in the journal in this instance, just the report of a core dump.
