P.S.:
The geeqie image viewer has a configurable zoom increment. Its default is 5%.
Doesn' that contradict "no other app does that"?

I've built gwenview from the git sources (version 19.03.70), and the zoom
increment is still at 41%. That's much too large. I'd like something like 10%
or 15%. The larger increment of some time ago was 50%. Now it
