Don't understand the question. I reboot the machine once in a while. Anyhow
kernel updates only a applied after a reboot. Until this the system is still
using the old kernel.

Testing dolphin briefly, it's not the filter bar, it's the search bar that's
using regex (it interprets the input as a regex).

Méven Car I've rebuilt solid with your patch and after 3 days of running
Dolphin uses just about 450 MB of RAM. This is a huge improvement, thank you! I
