OpenCV 4.7.0 is used. The problem is know and located in OpenCV library, not
digiKam.
digiKam AppImage is compiled with OpenCV 4.6.0.
Also remember that crash can corrupt database and make digiKam unstab

I see in the log that the ImageMagick metadata reader is being used extremely
often. So you must have images where Exiv2 fails. I'm pretty sure ImageMagick
