Flatpak are also useless and use a sandbox. Other projects (Kate) have already
canceled Flatpak. We also do not provide the flatpaks. Please test it with our
AppImage.

My Digikam (7.6.0) is ran from flatpak (in Kubuntu 21.10). When I follow the
advice, i.e. in terminal, run the following:
1 export QT_LOGGING_RULES="digikam*=true"
2 digikam
