If you're able to click on the panel normally when spectacle is doing a
rectangle capture, then it's probably not a GPU issue.

The VM I use is qemu with kvm, llvmpipe for graphics. I have a feeling it has
something to do with the floating taskbar, it feel like it tries to defloat on
