John I am familiar with the code. The blacklist/whitelist filters are still
there just have a look at ~/.config/baloofilerc

Persists in Baloo 5.19.0 as well.
There should be a method to white-list extensions one purposely wants to
content-index, perhaps stored in baloofilerc.
