I also found QT_DEBUG_PLUGINS while searching but it only says it uses
gstreamer if I understood correctly.
I found the info using `GST_DEBUG=4 gcompris-qt |& grep actual-sink`
Or more easily with: `GST_DEBUG=4

@Jazeix Johnny yes, installing gstreamer1.0-pulseaudio fixes it for me.
So qt5 does audio through gstreamer -> pulseaudio once this plugin is installed
I guess. Do you know which audio backend it uses if gstreamer
