Good news.
After today's system update (19/5/2025), it got fixed.
Working variant:
Krusader: 2.9.0 "Sixth Life"
KDE Frameworks: 6.13.0
Qt: Using 6.9.0 and built against 6.9.0

It got broken after introducing an new "segmented" Location Bar, same as
appeared in Dolphin some time ago.
I assume that this "segmented" Location Bar in the most recent 2.9.0 version.
