i want to set a certain configuration item for the notifications via
qtscript.
I tried to access the systemtray widget and access from there the applet
for org.kde.notifications. But this did not work.
Any idea how to set configuration-parameters for org.kde.notification?

not within kde or the plasmoids, but the networkmanager has a
dispatcher-directory under /etc/Networkmanager/ for post/pre-up/down.
If you are admin, you could use this.
