Hi,
I don't remember when the yellow message of the status bar turned to green.
I think that yellow was more appropriate as it is generally a warning
message (the green message is catching the attention as well as the
yellow one, but green color is not as usual for warnings)
Any other opinion
Sorry. My mistake!
I will get back yellow color

Hi all,
There is an option to constraint the distance between consecutive points.
It appears that :
- the constraint is activated even if shift is not activated (other
contrains need shift to be activated)
- the constraint seems to force the distance to be a multiple of
contrainLength. I thin
Hi,
Perhaps we should know what was the meaning of the original author? It may make
sense to draw lines which have for example full 100 meters distances between
vertices if it is possible, and then not to disable the constraint. The latter
happens usually only for the last vertex if it should s
Hi,
There are millions different ways to organize the JPEG2000 code stream when it
is written and that affects the reading side as well.
Most important for OpenJPEG is that it must load a whole tile before it can
process it. More clever drivers can handle tile parts by utilizing a systems

Hi
Thanks for clarification.
Do you think that OpenJPEG would be a good alternative to ER-Mapper one
for OpenJUMP ?
Just curious as this is not my area of expertise.

Hi,
OpenJPEG is open source and it works quite nice with tiled JPEG2000 images.
Inspire images are such as well as NITF images so they are not uncommon at all.
As a free alternative it would be fine. I am not sure how easy it would be to
use from Java, on all platforms.

According to this page:

there must be a java wrapper

That sounds very promising. Going through GDAL or img-ext is rather
complicated. Also Java viewer for JPIP would be great, even there may not be
many open JPIP servers.

Hi Stefan,
Maybe I misused CalculateDistancePlugIn :
I have a small layer with roads
I create a layer and digitize points near the roads. Each point has an
attribute idroad containing the id of the road beside.
I choose src and target layer in the plugin, enter the id attribute for
roads and
