I don't know an answer in OpenJump, but computing the corners of an image
is straigntforward if you have the world file or can get that information
from the GeoTIFF. You'll also need the number of pixels horizontal and
vertical. This is available in many graphics editors.

Unfortunately your question is not trivial. The Layer Properties plugin
that I wrote doesn't seem to be able to do this either. Perhaps someone who
understands the raster layers better can answer.

It is almost that easy, but world files have anchor point at the centre of the
top left pixel, not at top left corner of top left pixel. If you are
interested in real image area you will need to do some plus and minus
operations with half a pixel size values. Or you may download gdal util

I should point out that the plug-in manager is itself a plug-in. It
uses the plug-in dependency system I integrated into
