as I don't own a gps mouse, primarly the now unfunctional input has to
be tested. So anybody owning a device is a potential tester. Volunteers
wanted :)
Anything else depends on that. I would suggest I'll fix that and we'll
see what should be done else.

The magic is new in JDK 1.5 generics. It's a generic method the
means that at compile time it should deduce anywhere it sees T (T can be
anything you want) in the method based on the actual classes used.
