Designe with GUI builder is easier way to build nice IHM.
I would try Mantis because the code seems clean.

It possible to have more than one datasource by layer?
1 for Geo datasource (a data source for the géometry)
1..n data source for attributes
Exemple :
* shapeFile for the geometry
* a flat CSV file for some attribute
* MysQL database for some other
* PostgreSQL database for some others.

i just found streamline in my pack of cds and vectorized the logo.
Tomorrow i will try to do some small improvements to the vector image
and put in on the web.
