We can group, in Layer menu, similar items in submenu, eg. Change style,
Copy style and paste style coulg be grouped in a *Style* or *Simbology* submenu
(possibily together with SLD items).

that's right! I imaged the problem was the version of Java (I was using 1.6
instead of 1.5). I changed the Java version and it worked fine.
I gave a look to the new version (march 24th). I have a couple of proposals.

The new nightly build is done using 1.5 source and target compatibility.
I'm using the maven pom.xml to build the release so hopefully that
shouldn't be too much different from the ant build version. I integrated
the latest changes for JTS 1.9 so it should be up to date.
