Hi,
Just had a quick test with osgeo-live beta3
(http://aiolos.survey.ntua.gr/gisvm/5.5/)
Works fine, great thanks to Ede for the hard work.
Just noticed a bad error handling in the recent FillPolygonPlugIn (shame
on me).
I'll try to improve it for 1.5.2.

I told Cameron I would work on some screenshots for our qucikstart on
the OSGeo Live product. I know some e-mails have bounced back and
forth on this. I didn't want to start work until I shot across the bow
of the mailing list.
Is anyone already doing this? If not, I will start on the quickstart

For the tutorial - maybe I can look over it again on the weekend for
necessary text edits.
The issue is that several new screenshots need to be made as a lot of
changes have been happening since 1.3.x in the menus (with respect to
renaming).
And that is gonna take a few hours.

As a remainder
- change the link to the final version in .sh (Ede)

Hi,
Wanted to test the last build of osgeo-dvd with VMware, but the file
uploaded from
http://osprey.ucdavis.edu/downloads/osgeo/gisvm/latest/
is "osgeolive-5.5beta1.vmdk"
and VMware is waiting for a .iso (new VM) or .vmx configuration file
(open VM)
Any hint someone ?
