I have a whole bunch of changes in progress that include this kind of
functionality.
Hopefully in the next month or so I maybe able to incorporate the changes.

There was some discussion in May, 2007, about possibilities to introduce new
"sheet" view for editing feature attributes. Did anybody make any trials or
prototype about this? If not, may I make a feature request?
