yeah,
will have a deeper look when jdk9 is eventually released _and_ eclipse properly
supports it. will probably be some major work to iron the security, class
loader and package related errors out.

I had a try with jdk-9+181 64-bit on Windows and OpenJUMP starts and seems to
work. A few appear on startup and I am attaching them here:
