Anyway, after a bit of bug squashing, I've got a running version of the R*Tree
and a framework for testing it within OJ. The downside is that it craps out on
speed after about 5k features, so next week will be spent with

I just recognized that they did a couple of changes on sourceforge.
Unfortunately I can't see anymore the openjump-1.3.zip file on windows -
despite the fact that I just uploaded it again.
It could be that it is related to the fact that i am using windows. Can
somebody with a Linux system c
