Hi Larry,
I'm still very busy, but two remarks and two questions:
- Add 'final' modifier to the new constants in RenderingManager, please.
(After the second question you may come to the insight that these
constants are not really needed at all.)
- The flash Runnable in ZoomToSelectedPlugIn d
Hi Michaël,
You're right. We do agree. Reading my response again, I didn't
express myself clearly. I haven't updated the SourceForge SkyJUIMP
download since we moved the format menu to the bottom. Of course, you
can always compare the SourceForge Java code.

Larry

I'm not aware of any blocking issue in Geotools referencing module. Can someone
from OpenJump side share with us which problems they encounter?

I have completed the RenderingManager modifications. It now supports
three modes of interactivity: interactive, single thread queue, or
execute on event thread. It defaults to interactive which operates
just as it always did.
The execute on event thread mode blocks the GUI, and the single threa
Awesome Peppe. I'll get started with what you have, since I'm sure it
will take me a while to catch up.

Peppe,
I had to work late last night and didn't get to follow up on this for
you. The doc template is actually on the SurveyOS SourceForge site. I
should have clarified this for you. I apologize about the confusion.

Paul,
I have some quick comments. First let me say that I think the concept
you propose is an intersting one, and that I'm not dismissing it
entirely. However, I have a couple of conerns and/or questions.
My first concern is about simplicity. I know we are adding some great
styling functionality

At the moment the Task frame has two levels, Category and Layer. I would
like to propose a third Theme.
What is a theme? A theme identifies a sub set of features in a Layer
which have their own style, a label and you can show/hide the layer.
For feature layers an example would be a building you
Paul,
It looks like Stephan helped us out with the testing on Linux. Since
I'm running the same distro as him I see no reason to wait until I try
it this weekend. I still give it a run and will get back to you only
if I have problems.

Does anyone have MacOSX? If so could you try the new startup script, I'd
like to see if there are any issues on that platform.
Cheers,

Remember that spatial enabled RDBMS (like PostGIS or Oracle)
are already capable of doing projection, so one solution
is to pass a SRID code as a parameter to a Datastore connection
and let the Datastore driver do the conversion on the fly.
This makes me think that I can do it already with no modif

my 2cents
1) @Edgar: I have not heard about problems with your plugin. The only
lack is its userfriendlyness. But projections are thought for expert
users, and not for day to day gis users.
2) I had a go with the newer geotools code (Edgar uses older libs) about

People don't like user lists...
Only developers (but not always) like them...
This makes me wonder if developers are indeed people or not...
Jokes apart, people don't like surveys too...
I think a forum would be much more appreciated.
Also a wish-list or feature requests form may prove useful.
Hello all,
are there known bugs or problems, which prevent cts extension from
running in openjump? Are there requirements?
Not sure but maybe I could spend a weekend these days...

maybe linking it prominently on jump webspaces (wiki?) might help
