Thanks, but I managed to solve it. All I did was to remove '$' from the link selector, i.e. $(document).ready(function(){ // set path to present URL var path = location.pathname; // add class .current to li elements that contain matching link to var $('#mainnav [EMAIL PROTECTED]"' + path + '"]').
