I found that it is caused by having a textbox directly under the menu
so that when you come off the menu you are in the textbox. if this
happens the menu does not disappear. It is also still a Firefox only
problem as far as I can tell.

When i have a two tier menu system. eg. just dropdowns from the main
horizontal menu and there is only two options in the list, if i move
the mouse down and off the menu it does not disappear. Sideways off
the menu is fine, but not down.
It seems to be a firefox thing.
IE7 and chrome work fine.
