I am having trouble using javascript on contact that was pulled in
using Ajax. I assume this is because the javascript already loaded
when the page loaded that any new content won't be affected by it. Am
I wrong on this? Is there a way to use javascript on the new Ajax
loaded content?

I'm trying to create a function for a website that is similar to a
hidden from view notification from Gmail. In Gmail when you are
reading a long email conversation, it pops up a small tab with a name
and an arrow to indicate there is more to read but it's hidden from
view.
