Hi everyone.
I have a weird issue with selecting spans with the “for” attribute.
jQuery doesn’t seem to want to select it if the span is physically on
the page.
Physical test (fails):
I have Some text here in on the page.
My jQuery:
$(“span[for=lid]”).css(“background”, “red”);

Oh, I know why there is such a script element. It's one of the
wordpress plugins I use. -.-
Strangely, it only conflicts with Firefox.
I don't know how to thank you, Mike. It's so kind and patient of you.
You are the best person I've met this year. :)

there. I'll check if my site is hacked... You are like my savior.
Thank you so much!

ow the same rules. It seems
like they do move the object instead of copy it? I'm confused now...

I get this error in the Firefox error console: "$ is not defined".
it points me to line
$("div#respond>h3").html("Reply to");
I'm sure I've set jQuery properly because it works fine in other
browsers and the other jQuery effects I use can work in Firefox. Only
this part does not work. Actually, i

Hi, I'm new. I've written two pieces of code with jQuery. Each of them
works well individually. However, if I put them one after the other,
the first one still works, but the latter one will not work. If I
change their order, it's always the first that can work and the latter
one that can't work.

Hi,
Fairly new to this, I'd like to know if such a thing is possible with
jQuery:
I have a social bookmarks-like page where users can post a link and
description. I'd like to have some kind of function that would
automatically link @USERNAME to that persons Twitter page (http://
