I made a big mistake. I changed our subversion to the newest version.
Everything works fine. All our IDEs and tools are able to handle it, but
not Jenkins.
As I understood, Jenkins uses SVNKIT. There is an alpha version of SVNKIT
which supports the subversion 1.8.x format.

Subversion 1.8.x). The update worked fine (no errors), and while the update
process all files were automatically changed to the new format of

I installed Jenkins on my GlassFish. Everything seems to be fine. But today
I got the message that there is a new Jenkins version. I installed the new
war-file, but nothing changed. I still get the message that there is an
update.

How can I manually update Jenkins?
I tried to deploy the new war file, overwriting the existing one, restart
the application but it still see the old version number.
I also tried to delete and install new, but I also see only the old version
number.
I have no idea.

After playing some hours, I found the very simple solution:
1. Stop GlassFish service.
2. Delete the whole content of the jenkins folder in the applications
folder of the domain of the GlassFish.
3. Extract the new war file into the jenkins folder on the applications
folder of the domain of th

Today I updated to Jenkins 1.506. After that I wanted to change the
configuration vom 3.0.4 to 3.0.5, but I can't choose 3.0.5 in the list,
there is no entry!?
