I cannot tell from the description, but I do not think the plugin release ( https://wiki.jenkins-ci.org/display/JENKINS/Release+Plugin ) is what I am looking for. What I am looking for is to trigger a Jenkins build with a the github hook Release. Jenkins 2 GitHub Enterprise (2.8 or so) I see
