1. I am using a GUI, not the pipeline plugin.
2. I configured the Stash Notifier plugin in the 'Manage Jenkins' screen,
as well as the Job configuration screen. No luck. Furthermore, I don't see
a 'verify' button anywhere either.

Have you tried configuring the notifier under "Manage Jenkins -> System
Configuration"? That also has a verification button so you can make sure
it is working.
After you do that, please respond with more details about how you have
configured the plugin in your job. Are you using Pipeline or c
