Hi Dave,
perhaps a look at cntlm helps here, using cntlm you be able to setup a local
authentificating proxy that could be accessed from local machine w/o
user/passwd.
Additionaly you are able to use it as an proxy for other machines too.
But this probaly kills security on the corporate network.
