Master- Slave setup - tools and plugin setup

I would like to set up Jenkins master slave configuration where slaves run Selenium tests. I did some testing on the Master-Only using Selenium plugin for Jenkins and without any plugin as well. The plugin has some nice features so I would like to use it. But I am confused how this would work
