There has been some need for tools making debugging IPsec
configurations easier, and the working group will work on documents to
help that. One such protocol could be esp-ping.
I would like to add something around: Other protocols aim at
handling fragmentation as well as the management of DSCP.

work item of the IP Security Maintenance and Extensions (IPSECME) WG of the
IETF.
