For PHP5 SOAP, I would like to eventually see some more control over the
SOAP binding, in line with the SOAP 1.2 Messaging Framework
specification.

I think moving t
the sqlite directory under the driver, and there doesn't
appear to be anyway to compile the driver against an existing sqlite
installation (e.g. --with-pdo-sqlite=[DIR]).
Will the PDO driver builds be updated to support this type of build
configuration?

I don't know if this is a php bug, or perhaps pilot-error on my part on
either WindRiver Linux configuration or cross-compiling PHP.

Anyone who develops systems with 99.99 or 99.999% availability (~5
minutes downtime per year) needs to account for all error conditions,
and this is required in things like telephone systems, military systems,
etc. Hey, you may want a web interface to those systems ;)

erase your harddrive, unless you have gone
out of your way to make Apache run as root and open up all sorts of
priviledges it shouldn't have, and doesn't have by default.
This thread's pretty much pointless - I recommend you read up on web
security in general.

variables in memory, persist objects between requests, and serialize
objects for use in multiple scripts is essential in my opinion. Also,
how would this play with JSR-223?

What is the "--enable-zend-multibyte" configuration option used for
then?
I've noticed a few bug reports where this option was the culprit.

So, all the mb_* functions will have the experimental removed? I see a
few that still have it, or is that just the mirrors not up to date yet?

Thanks for the confirmation. The experimental warning appears on any of
the individual help files for mbstring (e.g. mb_ereg).
Do you know if the regular expression support lets you match alpha and
numeric content like you would normally?

Hi,
I'm trying to find status on the multibyte support in PHP. The manual
shows the functions in mbstring to be experimental and it's hard to find
evidence of how stable it really is.
Is this natively supported in PHP after 4.3.x?
Thanks,
Al
