I read that type hinting for function return values was going to be
implemented, is this true? If not, is it something that could be
implemented if I were to write a patch?

Could someone please take a quick look at bug #43231
(http://bugs.php.net/bug.php?id=43231)? Johnannes said in mid-November
that he had a patch for it but it's been sitting idle since then.
Should be a pretty simple issue.

Within the last few days i read some of the posts concerning the new
namespace implementation and it's alleged problems. And ... I really
have to say, that I do not understand whats the problem with namespaces
at all. Instead, I suppose that many lost sight of the original goal of
