Dear All.
Just updated Fedora 16 to kernel-3.1.0-0.rc2.git0.1.fc16.
Noticed that DRM (I hope it is DRM) works quite slow. For example if I open mc
in xterm window 150x50 size this window draws about 1 second, noticeably slow,
although I can't find any errors nor in xorg log nor in dmesg.
So, if
Please, add support for 915GM chipset.

If it is unsupported it means that something is wrong with detection, because
second OS on the same laptop - 3 years old OpenSuse uses it without problems.
Thank you.

OK, thank you. I checked it, and I got unexpected answer -
FBC unsupported on this chipset.
But on my old OpenSuse:
X.Org X Server 1.5.2
Release Date: 10 October 2008
X Protocol Version 11, Revision 0
Build Operating System: openSUSE SUSE LINUX
Current Operating System: Linux linux-xmc2 2.6.27.
Dear All.
How can I find out if FBC is disabled/enabled for my i915GM on kernel
2.6.38.6-27 and on rawhide 2.6.39-1.
Thanks

Dear All.
I still can't figure out why Fedora (13,14,15) shows LCD picture much worse
then opensuse 11.1.
So my next question - can it be because of different PCI configuration space of
my

Dear All.
Within last few days I have been testing my laptop i915GM LCD screen picture
with option "DRI" "off" in xorg.conf device section. It happened because I
can't physically look at my screen more then half an hour with DRI enabled. I
do not know how to explain what is wrong with LCD pictu

Dear All.
I have a small problems with Fedora 14, which was updated from rawhide.
So, my mouse cursor freezes every 10 seconds for about 0,1 second when I move
it around. I opened bug - https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=644044,
but I think I get more help here.
Using drm.debug=0x04 I

Dear All.
My question may look strange but I have some serious problem that prevent me of
using any linuxes on kernel higher then 2.6.27.
Explanation: I have laptop i686 Celeron i915GM video. On it there is two OS -
OpenSuse 11.1 (kernel 2.6.27) and now Fedora 13 (2.6.33 - 85). I have tested

Dear All.
Sorry to disturb you again.
When I start glxgears on Fedora 13, it tells me that application and suppose to
be OpenGL, now synchronized to Vertical Refresh Rate (VRR), which in my case -
laptop LCD = 60. And it also tells me that FPS should be ~ the same. Good. No
problem with it.
Bu
you.
