Interesting, that sounds like the backend suite has some state that's not being
cleaned up/reinitialised properly between tests! Thanks for the report :)
I've raised this as https://github.com/cyrusimap/cyrus-imapd/issues/2526

Hi Kristian,
The "A5" and "A7" are just the "tags" associated with the client's search
commands, they have no semantic value. The client prefixes each command with
some tag, and then the server uses the same tag in the response (so that you
can identify which response applies to which command)
Thanks Sergey, these have been corrected and should update automatically in the
next 15 minutes or so :)

Cheeky! Thing is, at FM our production servers more or less track the
master branch, so we were running "3.0" from the moment 2.5 forked off,

This kind of smells like maybe your system has two versions of perl installed
(or two versions of Term::ReadLine, or maybe even two versions of
Cyrus::IMAP::Shell), and they're getting in each other's way?
I'm having a quic

for a real ReadLine implementation. Sounds like we've found our bug!
I'll have a bit of a play with it and see if I can find/fix the discrepancy
between the interfaces :)
