I added a new 2.3.4 server to my murder setup, from scratch.
The servers in the murder are running 2.2.13 and 2.3.3.
When i added a new server with v2.3.4 create mailboxes works fine.
But when i want to read mail or delete mail i get strange errors.
### Delete mail

Does that make sense? When I get everything changed over I
can eliminate the wierd rules and go back to a simple sendmail

This sounds very similar to a problem that I reported a couple of weeks ago

For those who do have both Postfix and Cyrus, here are the init scripts for

ess (sam user/foo user all) to it via cyradm. I
then logged in as myself (normal user) with imtest and tried to "select
user/foo" and got the error "Mailbox does not exist". As cyrus I got
"permission denied" as expected.

Do I not have it compiled with "PLAIN" support? I know that I'm
normally authenticating via "plaintext" over TLS.

$ imtest -a cyrus -u poin
when it logs into the IMAP server. What is it sending to
the IMAP server to tell it that you want to authorize (-a) as another
user (ie. cyrus)?
I'll start poking through the SASL docs...

as looking for. Then it's base64 encoded before it's
sent to the server, IIRC I found that in some other source I was
looking through, but it probably didn't work because I wasn't using
PLAIN+TLS. :\
Thanks again!

Description: This is a digitally signed message part
nt to the
mailRoutingAddress. It works fine for my installation with Cyrus IMAP
and Virtual Domains.
As far as sending the full address (with the @domain), you will find a
line in the cyrus mailer in sendmail.cf that reads:
S=EnvFromSMTP/HdrFromSMTP, R=EnvToSMTP/HdrToSMTP, E=\r\n,
simply changing it to:
S=EnvFromSMTP/HdrFromSMTP, R=EnvToSMTP, E=\r\n,
should take care of that. There are instructions in the archives for
this also.

Hi Troy,
I believe that this is really a SquirrelMail issue.
IIRC, when I changed my Cyrus installation to use the unixhierarchysep,
I needed to change the SM config under Command 3 (Folder Defaults),
items 3, 4 and 5 to INBOX/Trash, INBOX/Sent and INBOX/Drafts,
respectively (note the "/" rather than the "." seperator). Someone on
the SM list would probably know more about that, though.

Mike.
Hi all,
I'm attempting to do the usual "deliver spam to a special folder" trick. Using
sendmail-8.12.10-1.1.1, procmail-3.22-11, spamassassin-2.62-2_8.rh9.at,
cyrus-sasl-2.1.15-6 and cyrus-imap-2.2.3.
All the sendmail/spamassassin/procmail stuff seems to work OK, and messages marked as
spam ar
Thanks guys... Adding the -a option to my procmail recipie did the trick!
Cheers

quick reading of the kssl.h file, you might try adding
"-DOPENSSL_NO_KRB5" to your CFLAGS and CPPFLAGS variables. This seems to
cause most of the kssl.h file to be skipped.
