I run Cyrus IMAP v2.4.17-Invoca-RPM-2.4.17-6.el6, with a mailbox
containing a folder EVASE_C of about 2GB.
I see these two processes that own all cpu resources:

I came across this the other day when I wanted to enable mailbox sharing by
just sharing the INBOX, but have inheritance take care of the rest; it doesn't
work that way. In RFC 4314, the only mention of inheritance is when creating a
