# echo 8 > /proc/sys/fs/file-max
to increase the max number of open files allowed on your system (you use
Linux, IIRC). Replace 8 with whatever number you require.

I'm using cyrus-imapd-2.0.16_2 with postfix on FreeBSD 4.5. I can get
my mails but when I send a mail, the mail is sent and reaches the
recipient, but I get a message which says:

I have read that Mulberry is the best IMAP client for Cyrus,
but I might be forced to make Cyrus work with the Eudora IMAP
client.
Does anybody have an out of the *.tar.gz install of Cyrus working
with the Eudora's IMAP clients on both the mac and windows platform ?

I've identified a bug in the lmtpd handling of email that has been
'redirect'ed with sieve. When sending the email to the sendmail
process, no check is made for lines containing a single period that need
to be escaped. The email is just read and pumped to sendmail in a tight
loop:

Is there a best MTA with Cyrus ?
I want to use Exim on Debian Woody running on a EXT3 filesystem
with the 2.4.17 kernel.
Does this sound sane for 2000 mail users ?
