We have experienced the same problem with cyrus/IMP regarding the lockers 4 days ago. We solved the problem by restarting Cyrus, and haven't seen it since. I think the problem may lie, actually, in lmtp, because our sessions continued to hang with the locking error until we stopped and restarted
