Hi,
I wanted to know if we can restrict some users to access POP and allow some
users to access POP. I do not want to have firewall based restriction. I am
using cyrus-imapd-2.3.7-4. The same users should be allowed through Webmail
without any issue. The users are LDAP users. Can anyone help me
Dear all,
I have installed cyrus imap on suse ES9 mail server , and want to use
POP3 for mails and authenticate users from /etc/shadow. So I add all
users to /etc/password and their passwords to /etc/shadow
For authenticate from shadow file , I changed
sasl_pwcheck_method: saslauthd
to
sasl_pw
No, I am still working on it. Suggestions still welcome ;-)
I suppose it has to do something with the virtual domain stuff - but am
still investigating.
The track I am currently following is:
imapd.conf:
default_domain: koordinaten.at
hostname: master.koordinaten.at
When I create sasl-users (via

Hi there,
after researching a lot of how-to's and list-archives I come to ask for
help.
Problem is: I can not authenticate imap/pop-users using auxprop and
/etc/sasldb2
On the same machine runs postfix and authentication via TLS and
SASL/auxprop works fine. So I can send mails but can not retr

Yann,
I just installed fedora 2 and I want to have it runing POP and sendmail...
I can see the services are runing:

see how many new messages were waiting and tell the user. If we don't
report that check, even for the IMAP users where th

Hello,
I would view this as a user education issue. You need to make sure
that your users are aware of the quota limitations and what they can
do to remain under quota.
I don't think you are going to be able to do what you suggest very
easily, if its possible at all. And for finding out, its not a
Hello all,
Is there a way I can disable leave a copy on the server. I have got some users who have kept a leave a copy on the server and now their mails are bouncing because of quota.
Seeing how pop works I assume that it is quiet difficult to disable "leave a copy", Is there a way I can
