I use SASL AUTh, with method shadow
When a users wanna connect to pop3 then he gets user/pw msg. in log then are
"no directory / inbox aviable for this user".
Shouldnt normaly create "autocreate patch" this directory when a user trys
to connect ?

I use imapd 2.2.12, i have no init or other start scripts .
When i start imapd over xinetd, or when i start the pop3 client (pop3d) over
xinetd the error below is in logs
Connecting to pop3 or imapd after this error isnt possible (no daemon /
imap/pop3d running)

hello
i have a problem i did convert the mbox to cyrus format with this script
which is down (but complete its just a part of it)
the files 1.2.3. etc are in /var/spool/imap/user/username in.
But when i try to recive it he means 0 mails...
Permissions are correct any ideas ?

i have SASLAuth started and it works fine with shadow (SMPT Auth) so auth
normaly dont must be a problem
no i have set the user to cyrus and set a passwd with passwd from shell.
i have 2 main problems

hello after the tip of "sieve" i did look in google and on cyrus page. i did
found sieve and docs..but not realy some rules of them...when i read
correct siev is "include" in cyrus..?
but any maybe has a URL of some rules examples or setup etc

im now using MailScanner+Spamassassin +Sendmail in config its procmail
But procmail has had nice filter (not for spam) for other thinks
so what i mean is its no way for CyrusIMap+Sendmail+Procmail correct?

Hmm now im little bit confused i did make a look into sendmail.cf and just
see a entry like
(it is standart install no custom local mailer m4 entrys)
this means procmail or?
so in fact its not possible procmail (nice filtering) + imap correct?

what happens then with procmail ?

but i didnt found a real solve for my problem.
is it possible to have "2" mailboxes , or that a user can choose which he
wants ...(imap or pop3)
do i need 2 servers (my old qpopper and cyrus)?
