Hi Christos,
the patch is _not_ included by default in any of the Cyrus distributions.
However, you can download the patch from
http://email.uoa.gr/download/cyrus/ and patch your sources or use Simon
Matter's RPMs that contain the patch.
Thanks. We're using Cyrus on Solaris. Seems that I have
Hi Christos,
I would like make clear some points about the autocreate inbox
patch. 1. There is a patch for Cyrus 2.2.10.
2. If you have already created the mailbox through cyradm, the patch
will not be activated and thus will not set any quota on your mailbox.
3. The patch is activa
Hi Rafael,
For this quota to work, the inbox needs to have recieved email via pop or
lmtp... if the user has never logged in, or if he has never gotten email,
then you cannot change the quota.
Thanks for your response. The messages are delivered from Postfix via

Hi Michael,
afaik the autocreatequota ist only the quota for mailboxes which are
created
by autocreate. If you create the mailbox with cyradm the mailbox is not
created by autocreate. So you have to set the quota with cyradm

Hi,
We're running Cyrus IMAP 2.2.10 on Solaris and want to introduce quota.
In imapd.conf I have:
# Quota 600 MB
autocreatequota: 60
lmtp_over_quota_perm_failure: 0
quotawarn: 90
Seems the autocreatequota does not work. When I create a mailbox with
cyradm and send a message to it

The intention for this construct is: We have two locations in different

I wrote a little script that runs as cronjob and uses lsof to count all
open files owned by the cyrus user:

time=`date +"%Y-%m-%d %H:%M:%S"`

Hi,
We are running Cyrus 2.1.16 with SASL 2.1.18 on Solaris and have
configured Cyrus to authenticate users against a LDAP directory using
saslauthd.
Is it possible to have the cyrus user to be authenticated via
/etc/passwd and all other users via LDAP? We don't want system users in
LDAP.
Hi,
I'm trying to compile Cyrus IMAP 2.2.3 on Solaris 8 using Sun Studio 7
Compiler.
Compilation Options:
PATH=/opt/studio/7/bin:$PATH
CC=cc
CFLAGS=-O
CXX=CC
CXXFLAGS=-O2
CPPFLAGS="-I/opt/adnmail/db/include -I/opt/adnmail/openssl/include
-I/opt/adnmail/cyrus/include"
LDFLAGS="-R/opt/adnmail/db/l
What do these Cyrus LMTPD log messages mean?
Thanks in advance.
