This is expected.
cyrus quota is sum of size in bytes of each email.
Disk quota used might be much higher because minimum size of a file on
lots of filesystems is 1 block.

thanks for your reply.
I do not have any particular single instance store setup... it is just a
normal raid5 DELL Perc with SATA disks...
