SNMP agentx -P option no effect

Hello , I am using the latest net-snmp 5.4 agentx support on cyrus 2.3.7. It is working until I find its agentx cannot re-connect to the SNMP server. The cyrus-master is running with "-P 30 -x /var/agentx/master" but the cyrus-master stops talking to the agentx if the SNMP service gets restarted.
