Has anyone had success with using plus addressing to send to a
specific mail folder when the folder name has a space in it?
With cyrus 2.3 you can enable:
lmtp_fuzzy_mailbox_match: 1
From imapd.conf
lmtp_fuzzy_mailbox_match: 0
If enabled, and the mailbox specified in the
I want to be able to use plus addressing to send email directly to a
user's mailbox. Here's an example:
jondoe+test [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Where 'test mailbox' (with a space and without the quotes) is a mail
folder in jondoe's inbox. I've tried several variations:
jondoe+test\ [EMAIL PROTECTE
We're about to embark on a High Availability email project and I was
wondering as to the feasibility of having multiple cyrus frontend
machines access a single backend machine (Veritas, Netapp filer,
whatever it takes etc.) The n+ front-end machines would all share
a /var/lib/imap and a /var/spool/

if there is, it escapes me at the moment.
You may also need to copy /var/sieve or equivalent if you're using
sieve scripts.
Also copy /var/imsp or equivalent if you're using your IMAP server
as an IMSP

totally out of the question?

Why don't you use the "--with-devrandom=/dev/urandom" configure
option (for sasl), making it never running out of entropy ?
You also can link your /dev/random
